Food Vendors

Dear Vendor,

River to the Rails, Greenwood’s Annual Downtown Street Festival, is scheduled for September 18-19, 2009. With local artists, a spectacular ‘Kidsville’, antique car show, and 2 nights of street dances, we are certain that this is an event you MUST participate in. This year River to the Rails has combined with the 300 Oaks Race to provide a full weekend of activities.

Please find enclosed the 2009 River to the Rails Food Vendor Application. The festival will be held on around the Historic Leflore County Courthouse on Fulton Street in Downtown Greenwood. Set up for the event will be available on Friday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. or Saturday between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. There will be security provided Friday night. If you require electricity, please mark your application accordingly (specify 110 or 220). We do not allow generators.

The food court is located in close proximity to the Main Stage and Artist Village. Events on the Main Stage are scheduled from 5:00 until 10:00 p.m. each night and the Artist Village is part of the Saturday festivities from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

River to the Rails retains exclusive rights to the sale of Coca-Cola products. Vendors may not sell soft drink products or bottled water of any brand. Examples of beverages that are permitted: homemade lemonade, sweet or un-sweet tea, snow cones, etc.

Each vendor will be allowed to choose an exclusive food item that no other vendor will be allowed to sell. This will be on a first come-first served basis. Please indicate your first 3 choices in the ‘type of food to be served’ space on your application.
